Would you like to

  • Being more present, slow down and flourish?

  • Be more connected to people and world around you?

  • Transform your live by training yourself in being present, responding with compassion and seeing deeply your habitual patterns of thoughts, feelings and behaviours?

  • Build up your inner peace, contentment?.
MBLC course  is based on the work of international mindfulness teacher Rob Nairn and Mindfulness associations . It is similar to other 8 week Mindfulness programs such as MBSR and MBCT, however the MBSR is focused in Stress Reduction and MBCT is specific for depression meanwhile the MBLC is open to all. Another key difference: whilst focused on developing mindfulness, the MBLC also introduces methods for nurturing self-compassion and compassion for others. Research has shown that self-compassion greatly enhances emotional wellbeing, it has the potential to boost happiness, reduces anxiety and depression.

What does it mean

being mindful?

  • The moment you consciously observe your thoughts or behavior, you are mindful. You know what's happening right now. This simple fact changes the way you live because it grounds you in the present. And the present is our only reality

  • It is a skill that, if developed, leads to the continuous development of our human potential: it allows us to recognize our emotions and thought patterns; build deep relationships with your body and mind and with everyone around you.

  • It is knowing what is happening when it happens without preference. Mindfulness allows what is to be, lets go of what goes away with awareness of our preferences

Rob Nairn

  • Creator of the MBLC course, co-founder of the Mindfulness Association. He was one of the world's pioneers in presenting Buddhist philosophy and practice in a way that was accessible to the Western mind.

  • He created MBLC, our 8-week secular mindfulness course in which we learn step by step to deepen our experience of being present and accepting ourselves as we are.
And all this in a language accessible and understandable to our Western mind.

  • I invite you to watch two lectures by Rob Nairn: "On calming the mind and mindfulness" and "On acceptance".
